| Marriage license... to apply?
My fiance is coming to the U.S. on the K-1 visa to get married to me and we want to get married as soon as possible so that she can adjust her status and apply for her greencard. In NY state though they say you should apply for a marriage license 1 month in advance and that both parties must be in attendance to sign the license. Besides Vegas.... what options or what states have marriages that can be performed immediately? We can wait a couple weeks ..... so how long would it take the clerks office to produce the marriage license anyway if they are saying to wait a month in advance?      |
