Question regarding German citizenship/marriage?

I have german citizenship and living in Italy. I would like to marry my Brazilian girlfriend who is under a student visa here in Italy.
What are the procedures and what I have to do in order for her to get all the EU rights and stay here with me?

Do I have to travel to Germany to get married?

Thanks a lot for all the help.
1st of all why are you so concerned with my issue if you have no idea of what are you taling about? Are you f*** immigration officer?

2nd- I'm not american!!!

3rd- Since my granpa was german, he had to leave german because of the nazzies, so yes , up to 3 generations after a war fugitive received the right to return to his country, that being GERMANY!!!!

4th - If you are not part of the solution you are just part of the problem. So care about your own problems um dumb gringo.

You have German citizenship and you don't speak any German???? How poor is that?!!! Did you won the citizenship in a lottery??

EDIT: you can tell this story to another dumb person, but not me! I don't believe you! If you had been born in the U.S. (and I think you did), then you're automatically an American citizen by birth.
When your grandparents are German nationals, so the grandchildren are not automatically German. This cannot happen to the 3rd generation. Only works, if your parents were Germans as well.

A spouse of a German citizen may be naturalised after 3 years residence in Germany. She has to renounce her citizenship and must have sufficient knowledge of German and German way of life.
