Common law marriage question?

If someone has never lived with anyone and never agreed with anyone that they were married to each other and never referred to each other as husband and wife is it possible for a common law marriage to have been created in any state?

That doesn't sound possible because then anyone can say they have been "common law married"...

On the other hand...I am in a common law marriage because we own real estate, bank accounts, etc..together. So when we seperate, it must go through a proceeding like any other marriage.
Oh and we have been together for 8 years.

For a common law marriage to be created, the couple has to hold themselves out to be husband and wife.
There are only a handful of states that recognize common law marriages, anyway.

There are very few states that still have common law marriages.

What happened was that long term ROOMMATES were claiming that they had lived with their roommate for so long that they should receive the benefits a widow would receive. There were a bunch of supreme court cases and now very few states still have CLMs.

Simple answer: No, not possible
