If your significant other refused to talk about marriage??

If your significant other refused to talk about marriage, and you wanted to get married really bad, would you leave that person? I mean like after being with that person for about 7 yrs or so.

I've seen it all over these forums. Girls leave b/c the guy won't commit, they marry someone else and then they come on here to say that they made a mistake & they want their ex back. All the time.

Wow, that definitely sounds like a situation. Well, ask questions, find out why it is they don't want to get married. It shouldn't be you if you all have been together for 7 years. Maybe they just don't plan on getting married, perhaps had a bad experience with their parents, or a past marriage. Your key goal is to find out WHY. If the problem is not you, then I don't think you should leave that person I think you should love them if you love them, and if you don't look for someone that you do love. Marriage is important to a lot of people, and if it's really important to you then let him/her know.

seriously man, do not ask that here, you need to make decisions based on your isolated relationship, and maybe the other ones your significant is in at the same time

I was with my guy for almost 4 and basically - yes I did. You want different things. Also, it's one thing if he is up front and saying he doesnt and another if he is just avoiding the topic. The second is even worse, since he is not even trying to communicate about it. Move on.
