can you file for your divorce and then get a lawyer to take care of child custody...

...issues? Is it cheaper to handle your own divorce , in the matter when its a simple one with no property and its a no fault and then hire a lawyer to handle the child custody paperwork, there is also no issues both parties are argeeing to joint custody

Generally, a judge will not agree to a divorce until the child custody issues are handled. No matter what, its better to have a lawyer than to chance getting screwed over without one.

just let the lawyer handle it all.....both parties agree now, but trust me...that can and often does change....it won't cost all that much anyway if the two of you continue to agree......
