Why is he scared of marriage?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a while now. we have pretty much moved in together and have been talking about our future together. However, Everytime I talk about marriage, engagment rings, and weddings, he gets all stressed out. We are both only sophmores in high school, so it's going to be a little while before we actually do get married... what should i do to convince him that it is going to be okay. He says he loves me but when he says he doesn't want to get married, it makes me feel like he doesn't. what should i do?

Hopefully, marriage will be AT LEAST 5 years off - so why in the world do you want to force him to discuss it now?

Leave the subject alone. You're not ready for marriage now anyway. Perhaps future goals would be better conversation.
If that stresses him as well. Perhaps that's his nature...to worry.
