Should people only have long-term relationships such as marriage with people...

...in their own financial status? I now believe this is the case. It should not be based on race or religion at all and it never should have been. I now believe that wealthy people should seek other wealthy people for relationships. I think this is why my marriage failed and also why my last ex gf left me. Neither of these women were on the same financial status as I am. I was labeled as controlling by both my ex wife and ex gf. I think that maybe if I had married someone who made six figures a year as I do, it may have worked. What do you think? I need your thoughts and feedback on this.
