I called his bluff on it and am having fun. I don't feel sad anymore like I did the last two weeks. When will the sadness take over me again?
He was very controlling and verbally abusive and is on pot and methadone.......

becaue you have finally taken control of your life, and not allowing him to control you anylonger.....that is why you are happy. You deserve better, I mean if the cops suspect him of doing drugs and come to the house then you are apt to get arrested as well. I just don't think the sadness will take over, I think that you need to seriously consider moving forward with your decision today. You will be a much happier woman if you do.
