I made a mistake with a divorced cop last summer.?

I truly like him. IHe is 38 and I am 24.I knew there was a definate chemistry with us. Our mutual friend Robyn said he probably would never date me and was not looking for any relationship because of his recent divorce.

I feel bad because one night I drank to much and ran into him and he was fine but things happend and it was weird. So now we are both shy around one another. I know he is at home lonely and has problems. I wish we could connect and atleast have some sort of relationship. i think of himall the time. I wish I could salvage this. I also think he may be embarassed because he lost his erection that night, but I think that is nothing.
Do you think he may still be attracted to me?
I want him to still like me but he really is stray now.. Can he still like me or be atttracted to me. I think he may be in a relationship according to his myspace but I dont know for sure whats up.

Next time you run into him, tell him you would like to talk to him. Ask him how he has been and tell him you have been wanting to get this off your chest. Tell him, Things have been really akward for you and you think it's because of what had happen last summer and you're sure he feels the same way. Then tell him, you like him and hope the akwardness goes away and if he like he can give you a call. Leave it open for him and see if he calls. If he does, Good Luck.

You can be friendly -- invite him for a drink, or a quick lunch somewhere. See where it goes from there. If he's in a relationship, or he doesn't want to pursue your interest, he won't be able to meet for drinks or lunch, or he might just come out and tell you that he's dating someone else. Either way, you'll know, and can move on.
