Question about religion and my future marriage..?

My boyfriend and I were discussing our future marriage plans and he told me that he is going to decide everything to do with our kids, our finances and pretty much every single decision to do with our lives.
He said I can only give my opinion and then he started talking about bible scriptures and blahblahblah.

Is it that way with every Christian marriage? and is it supposed to be that way?
we've been together 11 months.
And he's a good guy just has some crazy views.
He knows I wont take it.

He sounds arrogant and obnoxious, and will be difficult to live with.
