...no such talk betwen boy and grl! Mother has assumed things, as she wants to see her daughter settling down and its high time daughter really did( wrt to age and all her frnds r already married) but how does she explain things to her mother??? she has already politely talken to her, but of no help....plz advise

I guess Sweety, has to stop being so sweet. you need to tell mother that she needs to stop meddling in your life. That things are not settled between you and the guy, the pressure could drive him off. Tell her you love her.....but back off.

I guess that all you can do is make sure your boyfriend knows that none of this is coming from you and that his parents know that too. For some reason your mother is rushing the matter (social pressure from her friends and family?). Then if it comes up outside the house you will just have to laugh it off as wishful thinking on Mom's part and change the subject.
