Sally has a spectacular aura about
My husband has been suffering from depression and it is hurting our marriage our...

...kids and our life I need help He is having stress at work, disowned by his parents and brothers, and money stress. He sleeps and lays on the couch when home and watches tv to escape. I work at nights and it is causing more problems between us. I am looking for some advice on how to help my marriage and help him with his depression. His outlook is on life is that there is no hope and has little self worth. I get the brunt of his frustrations and his temper is short. (not physically) He just gets angry at me very easily then blames me for being hard to deal with. I love him very much and he has stuck with me through really tough times but I don't know how to help. I don't have any friends or family to talk to and my kids are suffering from the constant struggle we are having at home.

You have to just hang in there and be there for him. It will get better in time, everyone and every marriage has some bad times.

See if you can find community counseling services, and try to get him to go. Also, as odd as if may sound, consider church.

I always say this... but call Dr. Laura. 1800DRLAURA
"Proud mother of a deployed American Paratrooper. Hooah!"
She gives really good advise. In the meantime, let your hubby know that you're there for him and that whatever is not right at the moment, you two, together, will work to get through it. Good luck.

He needs some professional help, like talking with a counselor. I am sorry about all your problems, but you are a good wife to reach out for answers to your husbands problems. I will keep you in my prayers and you should pray for your husband. Because prayer does change things.
But pray and also get your husband some help if you can.
Be encouraged you have to believe that things will get better, and that this to will pass. God bless you both!
