how do I divorce a run away?

8 years ago I went to Tijuana to buy some T.V.s I met a girl so beautiful I wanted to keep her so I married her and brought her back ,as soon as we got here she ran away while I was at work,now I want to marry my girl who is american but how do I divorce a ghost,I don't know what to do please help me thank you,I don't have alot of money

file the paperwork and have her tracked down. ou can still divorce her even if she isn't found these days. It is called abandement. You might need to talk to an attorney about it. Most will give free/low first consultaions. Check it out

Get a lawyer. I think you have to place ads in the paper and stuff to show that you've tried to locate her and then you can be granted a divorce without her present.

If you've been apart for more than one year you can file for and receive a divorce even if she doesn't show up for the court date.
