I just entered 'marr*' in the search engine at e-Sword. I got 77 hits using the Revised Version of the Bible. These verses are spread out across both the Old and New Testaments. I am sure that if I had entered 'husban*', I would have gotten some more verses relating to marriage.

In some cases, you have to read between the lines to discover the rules; in other cases, the rule is clearly listed.

Obviously, I cannot write these down HERE. If you are really interested in the topic, why not visit the site and do the search for yourself?

Ephesians has some rules for the husband and wife.

Malachi 2:14 & 15 Marriage crates the best environment for raising children. Matthew 5:32 Unfaithfulness breaks the bond of trust, the foundation of all relantionships. Matthew 19:6 Marriage is permanent. Romans 7:2&3 Ideally, only death should dissolve marriage. Ephesians 5:21-33 Marriage is based on the principled practice of love, not on feelings. Ephesians 5:23, 32 Marriage is a living symbol of Christ and the church. Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is good and honorable. I hope this will help you out.

Genesis.

God created marriage when he married Adam and Eve who are referred to as husband and wife in Genesis.

There are many verses in the Bible that describe the rules of marriage and how husbands and wives are to treat each other.

Proverbs 18:22 (King James Version)
22Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

Proverbs 19:14
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 9:9

The Bible does not tell us when a marriage starts or how to start a marriage.

Ok, here is it! Bear with me...

Believe it or not, the Bible God is very much responsible for who gets what girl for a wife! In fact, God is known to take the wife away from a husband and give her to other MEN!

Jeremiah 10:10a (NIV) Therefore I* (*God) will GIVE THEIR WIVES TO OTHER MEN and their fields to new owners.

2 Samuel 12:8 (NIV) I* (*God) gave your master's house to you* (*King David), and YOUR MASTER'S WIVES* (ex-King Saul’s wives) into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more (More wives yet! Wow!).

King David got Bathsheba pregnant and got her husband killed to take her all for himself. God was King David’s personal pimp and God didn’t like what King David did on his own!

2 Samuel 12:11-12 (NIV) This is what the LORD says: “Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity upon you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight. You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.” (Done! 2 Samuel 16:21-22)

God loves a DAY CLUB setting in full public view! Private NIGHT CLUBS are of the Devil! God will never force anybody to sin… so ladies, enjoy all you can IT IS ALL ON GOD JUST DON’T BE SHY!!! In the case of King David his wives changed husbands at least 3 times! Isn’t God so wonderful? Some Christian ladies wouldn’t stop praising the LORD! Amen?

BTW… King David was already married to Michal daughter of King Saul (1 Sam 18-19). So when God passed all the wives of King Saul to King David he became automatically married to Michal’s mother, too! God can make an exception to any of his Sacred Laws at any time and have a man of God married to a mother and daughter at the same time! The clergy is hiding all this facts from the Bible… that is why they make a good living on what the gullible Christians feed along CURRENT secular morality! The Bible flip flops a lot on moral issues! Most people writing the Bible were not different from people on any of these chat rooms on the Internet except that they lived back then when hardly anybody knew how to write.
