Arranged Marriages in general - BAD. persuasive essay?

I'm writing a persuasive essay on arranged marriage and I want to discuss on how horrible it is. I'm supposed to write up only an introduction paragraph but I'm STUCK.

-write on how arranged marriages work within a culture and how that integrates into Canadian society
-is it only first generation immigrants this happens to? What about 2nd or 3rd generation?
-maybe discuss on arranged marriage in general. Are they terrible prisons? There has to be a reason why they are still around.

The questions above are my teacher's feedback on my topic. I decide to do arranged marriage in general and how they are terrible because it will be hard to find good Canadian sources on other specific questions.

I need to outline three main arguments and how I expect to prove the thesis/viewpoints as well as with evidences (sources). The hardest part is the sources have to be Canadian or related to Canadian. The last thing I need to do is come up a really good thesis.

Help me fellows. Help me brainstorm with this stupid persuasive essay.
I just came up with two main arguments:

- One argument I will use the load of examples of extreme cases about disastrous or unhappy arranged marriages
- Other argument I can talk about comparisons between arranged marriages and love marriages like how you choose your mate and such.
I don't know the other argument I can use for my persuasive essay... @___@;;
