| This is not for class: Math question: Can someone verify my calculated date?
Without going into too much detail- I'm trying to figure out a rough estimate of when something will occur, but I'm questioning my math. I'm sure its easy algebra for someone out there- here are the simplified details. A company was sorting through their piles of paperwork (dates written in "month/day/year") On 1/20/08 they were going over papers from 6/19/06, on 4/03/08 they were going over papers from 7/25/06. The big question: When will they be sorting through papers from 8/06/07? Here is my answer, but if you prove me wrong, let me know. My rough estimate landed on around Jan 1st 2011. |
