denominator is a rational number expressed in the form a/b. True False 2: Number theory is a field of mathematics sometimes called "higher arithmetic."True False 3: When we express ratios in words, we use the word "to" -- we say "the ratio of something to something else. hi i will answer as much as i can for ya..1. false the denominator is the bottom number in a fraction 2. dont know3. true4. false, again denominator = bottom # and numerator= top #5. false, not ALL #s greater than zero. they only have 2 divisors. 1 and itself. for example.. 2 is a prime number. it can ONLY be divided by 1. the first 30 prime #s are..2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, 101, 103, 107, 109, 113.6. false, the median is the number in the middle when all the numbers are arranged least to greatest7. true 8. don't know.9. don't know.10. not sure, but from what I know a coefficient is the number before a variable. such as 3x .. 3 being the coefficientbut i learned that last year so its not that clear haha.

1. False. for a fraction a/b, the denominator is b2. True3. True4. False, that's backwards. a is the numerator, etc5. False. 6. False. it is the number for which 1/2 the numbers are > and 1/2 are less ex. 12678. 6 is median7. True8. True9. False. this could be true I suppose..10. True
