| Have a moral orientated sort of question involving peer assessment!?
well, basically, at uni we were given a project for our course. im in a group of 4, one guy is pretty on par with me in terms of work rate, another guy actually had genuine excuses when he couldnt do some work (court appearences lol!) but there is one guy who has basically done FA throughout!Im normally one of those dog eat dog types, and wouldnt give a thought into cutting someone loose, but for some reason im not sure this time! We are still in the report section (writing up our project) and this guy has done nothing towards, designing, mathematics, building, and presenting the project... (his excuse was he was writing the report) i then look at what he has done, and he has copied and pasted it all.....(plagerism city!) So my question is should i screw him over by doing peer assessment (where i say how much work as a % he has done!) or do i let it slide.....my main reason for hesitation is that if i screw him over he might not get into the next year....... help!(not sure why this is in social science....)Just another point to add, one of the reasons for screwing him over, is that he has put in no effort to even try and do some work.......ah and another reason is that would it be fair to just let him breeze through then next year get a different treatment and get really peer assessed and fail the 2nd year? better to fail him now!??! i mean there is always the chance he might get his act together in the second year........ hmmm
