| I need a clarification on log properties...applying them to a...
...problem....READ math people, REAAAADDD!!!? Wrong section... OK, please help. ok here are the props. I was given: log1=0 log10-1 log(10^x)=x 10^logx=x log(ab)=loga+logb log(a/b)=loga-logb log(b^t)=t*logb Ok, My questions... I know that when u simplify, expand and rewrite as a single log u have to use these (the last three I did) BUT HOW???? Like how do u know which 1 to use...and is there a way in words to remember how to use them (I need it in WORDS...I'm more of an English person) So please help (I wanna do the HW by myself)!!!!! Basically, explain these logs (specifically the last 3) in ways a complete stupid person in math could understand (I'm not dumb in math...I have an A in Honors Pre-Calc but I've never understood these kinda things-with all letters and applying them in order correctly). Thanks so much!!! |
