After a disaster, the relief personnel are very concerned that there should be equitable distribution of rice to all victims. Each family of victims is to receive one litre of rice per family member. However, there are only two containers available or measuring out the rations: One container holds exactly seven litres, the other exactly four litres.

Devise methods for doing out of one, two, three, five and six litres,respectively, of rice. What would happen, if the seven litre container had to be replaced by a six litre one?
