just for fun answer the following question:

Jimmy asked his mom if he did the dishes for 30 days, could he start with a dollar and double the amount each time. After 30 days how much money would Jimmy have. ex:

day1 day2 day3
$1+1 $2+2 $4+4=$8.00 then double it is $16.00 get it

After 1 day $1
After 2 days $1 + $2 = $3 in total
After 3 days $1 + $2 + $4 = $7 in total

after n days (2^n) - 1

After 30 days 2^30 - 1 = $1073741823 i.e. about a billion dollars
