| Maths VECTORS URGENT Help!!!!? Please help me solve this problem!!!! Copper cable with a diameter of 1/2 cm is to be wrapped in a circular helix around a cylinder that has 12cm diameter. What length of cable (measured along its centerline) will make one complete turn around the cylinder in a distance of 20cm (between centerlines) measured parallel to the axis of the cylinder? Hint: First, assume that the parametric equations of the circular helix are x = r cos t, y = r sin t, z = kt. Then, you need to determine values of r and k.      |
