Question about the math of the NCAA tourny?

This is purely hypothetical...

Tyler Hansbrough averages exactly 40.2 points per game for the NCAA tournament. Did UNC win the championship? If not, which round did they lose in? (It's a 64 team tournament single elimination tournament)
