| mathematics applied to chess? I have recently been thinking about the general solution to chess. This should mean, at any given position, there should be a direct way to calculate the best move; ie, for any move there should be a way to calculate exactly how much of imbalance will that move introduce to white/black advantage without brute force. What are your views? do you think such solution is possible? |
