Yak has a spectacular aura about
Virgin Media have overcharged me by about £200 but they refuse to refund me the...

...money they owe what action can Virgin Media mistakenly charged me a twice for about 10 months for an internet account. I didn't notice for a while becuase they charge one amount to my credit card and one amount to my bank account. They now keep not returning my calls or answering my letters when I try and get them to refund my money. What can I do?

Raise an action in the small claims court. Best to send them a registered letter first and give them one last chance to refund

Contact BBC Watchdog programme. They can get companies to listen.

The best thing in these cases is to take legal action. Call BBC WatchDog. If they broadcast it you will get your money back. If you claims doesn't threaten them then they won't do anything unless you do something like losing their reputation, as in WatchDog effectively.
