Hi. I'm fifteen too and I'm getting journalism experience from the Scholastic Kids Press Corps. It's really exciting. I've been to many Election '08 events and interviewed sports players. I've also met a lot of other journalists. You could try for that.

Or you could send in Letters to the Editor at your local paper. It's not real reporting, but it's a great way to practice your writing skills and get your name in at a paper. Send in a letter about an issue that concerns you.

Also, find out if your school has a newspaper and work on that. If your teachers notice some talent they can give you opportunities to do even bigger and better things.
