my computer windows xp 2006 hp media center, keeps on going to the start up

page( sorry for the inconvience bl my computer windows xp 2006 hp media center, keeps on going to the start up page( sorry for the inconvience black screen) when the timer to restart is done it still restarts and goes back to that page.what is wrong??
