I need help with a cold. PLEASE HELP! (medicines or home remedies)?

i am going on a trip in four days to Niagara Falls and to see the red sox play on an MIT trip (for those of you who don't know MIT is a collage in Massachusetts). my cold is so bad i might not go to school tomorrow and i am missing school on friday anyway. i am all congested and i just feel like i am gonna blow!!!!! i am also all ache and tired. are there any medicines or home remedies that would possibly help??
oh i forgot to mention i don't have a fever.
