| Should I Continue Taking Cold Medicine?
I had a cold Sunday and I'm fine now, but my nose is still stuffy and my ears are still clogged! I took mucinex about 3 hours ago. Do I need to take NyQuil tonight and Tylenol Daytime Cold medicine tomorrow morning?

Well, I don't know if the Mucinex helped you but I was told it doesn't work well. As far as the NyQuil, you should STAY AWAY from it! There was a documentary on that stuff and it is made of mostly sugar and has alcohol. doesn't do anything for a cold. Those Sudafed or Tylenol cold pills would help you better but I still say the best remedies are hot chicken soup aboput 3 times a day for 2 days and LOTS of fluids like clear juices and water, so that you flush out the impurities and keep from getting Dehydrated. Sudafed is good for stuffy noses. Hope ya feel better!! |
