Does anyone know of a vaccine/preventative medicine for myximatosis in

domestic/pet rabbits please? I am aware of Nobivac Myxo thats available by prescription in the UK, but after loosing 2 treasured bunnies to this preventable disease I want to know if there is anyone who knows anyway to help safe guard bunnies besides keeping bitting insects away and screening the animals enclosure.
I treated the infected bunnies with homeopathic drops, with no luck, so I took my pets to the vet who then put them to sleep so they wouldnt suffer anymore. Myxi is such an awful and very preventable disease, and I dont understand why there is a vaccine for calyci and not for myxi.
I am in NSW Australia and would appreciate your help or suggestions : )

there is only the 3 yearly vaccine and taking measure like digging a hole around your fence to about 2feet and putting chicken wire in it and filling up again to stop wild rabbits entering your garden. to stop then passing on the disease to your rabbits. could you keep them inside? rabbits can be easily litter box trained that way they are less at risk.

sorry about losing your rabbits, it's a horrible thing to have to go though. i lost my i lost my first ever rabbit that i got when i was 5 last year to cancer she was coming up for 13 and she was put to sleep because we didn't want her to suffer but it is never easy.
