| People are against "socialized medicine"? yet "socialized capitalism" is okay - large banks/corporations receiving tax payer subsidies to bail out themselves or other big business. Instead of "socialized medicine" in its full effect where the government controls your doctors, etc. how about "socialized medicine" in the form of subsidies per individual or family like we do big business? Would "socialized medicine" in that form be acceptable to those who otherwise oppose it? Or are taxpayers subsidies only good for big business?      |
