gout/ blood pressure medicine?

i am taking lisinopril/hctz 20-12.5 for 4 months and my blood pressure around 116/64 before taking the medicine it was 152 to 160/70-80
i had gout a year ago and my uric acid was 9.3 i didnt take anymedicine i keep losing weight and it come back to 8.0 while taking blood pressure medicine and the doctor check it after one month again and it was 8.0 and the doctor told me i dont need any medicine for uric acid coz its in normal range 3.5 to 8.5 but even that i got pain in my leg for 5 days then its gone , maybe i was in vacation and i ate alot of fish for one months
my question is
does uric acid level 8 is normal and i dont have to worry about it ?
is it ok to to be in hctz 12.5 ( idont know if its increse uric acid but its small dose)
i talked to my doctor about it and he told me your uric acid come down while in medicine but at the same time i was losing weight and lose 50 pound
i really need some advice from doctors , pharmcist and people with same experinces
