| Is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship worth the extra three years? After Med School and the completion of the three year Emergency Medicine Residency is it worth going back to school for the three years in Pediatric training? I really want to work with kids but I figure if you work in a hospital away from a major city or university you will get to see children anyways. I really don't want to graduate when I am 32 I would much rather be settled down and starting a family by that time. Are there any real big differences in salary and hours, or would it just be better to get a license in Emergency Medicine and then work in a smaller city hospital? |
