| best route to medicine? well, i am in the UK. did my a-levels with biology, chemistry, physics and maths. grades were B,C,D,B resp. i know these wont let me into medical school directly. But i know i really deserve to be a medical student. i had lots of disturbances during my a-levels. but i dont want to re-sit my a-levels. is there any way i can get into medicine? should i just apply to uni these grades? they look for aab and i have bbcd ! please help.thanks. |

| you could try it, for a start. you could also think about other routes into the medical world without being a doctor. there are fasinating careers such as radiologist, physiotherapist and 101 others that i dont know about personally, but which you would be well qualified to study for. some of these will involve getting a nursing degree but dont dismiss this from your mind. by all means apply for med school, in the meantime keep your eyes and mind open for other opportunities. good luck |

| Try a medical school in India. Many of their graduates come over here and do very well and earn over £100,000 per year. The NHS does not care whether you did well or not at the medical school as long as you have a degree and say you are an indian doctor. They'll grab you before you can say 'Bollywood'. |
