What's the best medicine to cure my hearing loss?

I recently have acquired a cold, sore throat, and excessive coughing. I took Claritin, and a shot of Nyquil every night for the past 5 days. It has started to go away, but 3 days ago my ear started to stop up. Me, thinking I know how to cure it, I bought an ear-wax removal kit thinking that will help. It only made it worse. I took it and then my ear became completely stopped up. A couple of hours later, I went to CVS and bought ear drops that are supposed to cure an ear infection due to a cold. I thought that would work, but did nothing. So, now I sit with a stopped up ear, and I think it is due to allergies. But I think I have made it worse by putting all these drops in my ear. Does anyone know of how I can open up my ear WITHOUT going to a doctor, because I have 0% insurance, and can't afford it. Please help, I am going crazy!!!
