There is useally no copay with Medicaid. It useally covers everything. Do you know what type of Medicaid it is? As long as your doctor provides an authorization for the Asthma treatment everything should be okay. But to be on the safe side...contact Medicaid to find out what is covered. But...I dont think you'll have to pay anything at all.

On the serious note. Ok have you tooken the baby to the dr to get a prescription. Ok if you have take your medicad to your local drug store and they will fill it for free. If you have medicad everything for your baby is for free. Also if you are under 21 yrs of age as the mother you are covered there for you can go to the dr and go to the dentist and get your teeth done for free and any work needs to be done for free. You can get reading glasses for free eye exams. Please read your book that you recieved when you got your card. Also apply for WIC , if you have not already have. You can get free milk to last you for a whole month and everymoth . I am talking about baby milk. This will last until the baby turns five. Also they give you voluchers for milk, cheese, eggs and etc. Call your local wic office and medicad if you have questions. Please do not be hesitate to call anyone for help.

I live in MD and I have medicaid for my daughter. All prescriptions are covered if you are pregnant or under the age of 21 then there should be no charge for prescriptions. When you go to the pharmacy take your childs medicaid card the MCO one. I use walmarts pharmacy they are pretty fast. But almost any pharmacy should accept it if your not sure just call the pharmacy and ask.BTW Just b/c we have medicaid does not mean we are on welfare we are working people to that have jobs that do not offer health insurance and it is to expensive to afford on your own.
