yep! it might be only like $1-$3 at the most.
Just bring your prescription and the babies medicaid card to the pharmacy. You will probably have to get a generic, but it's all the same. I go to walgreens and they accept it.

Medicaid is a blessing! Yes, it covers all medicine. Talk to your pediatrician. He will be able to answer your questions, even the nurses will. Your child will be covered by medicaid for a very long time, for every thing, hospital, dental, eyes, everything.

There should be a customer service number on the back of your medicaid card. Call them and ask, or you could just try to run it at the pharamacy counter. If it's not covered, the pharamacy might not run your card, and you'd still have the babys medicine. Although, they might catch it later and try to make you pay for it.
I have issues with medicaid all the time, Good luck!!

In SC it is a $3 copay with Medicaid. It's about time, too! I got tired of welfare people getting prescriptions for free when I have a copay!

*edit* Mandy, what do you think medicaid is? It's WELFARE!

The pharmacist will know if the particular med is prescribed although he may have to substitute a generic. Otherwise, yes, Medicaid covers your baby's meds.

I know for certain Walgreens covers Medicaid. I'm pretty certain CVS and Rite Aid will also cover it, but ask.

You should have been given some numbers to call if you have any questions with the medicare card. I think you should try and call those numbers also I think they should at least pay for most of the perscription. good luck

It should pay for it. Yes, take your card to the pharmacy with you when you take your prescription.
