Does anyone know a good acne medicine or cleanser that doesn't have Salicylic...

...Acid in it? Ive tried almost EVERYTHING for my stupid acne which isnt that bad but is still REALLY annoying. Some things work but most make my skin really itchy or really red and i hate it. so i then realized it was because i was allergic to Salicylic Acid and im trying to find something without it. I wanted to use the Neutrogena Wave to see if it made a difference but then i found out it has Salicylic Acid in it. so now im a little dissapointed. haha. if anyone knows of anything please let me know! thanks so much!

Sure! Try Proactiv, or the new Walmart Acne-Free cheaper version, which contains Benzoyl Peroxide. Benzoyl Peroxide works better than Salicylic acid in my experience. Proactiv is a 3 product system: cleanser, toner, and repairing cream.

Benzoyl Peroxide is the most popular treatment.. if you've tried everything I assume you've used that. Some treatments seem different.. I've had oxy, clearasil, and clean + clear in tubes (all the same benzoyl peroxide) and none worked but once I got acnefree (a kit like proactiv), my acne cleared up and that has benzoyl peroxide, too.

try any ' burt's bees' product, they're all natural so they won't have salicylic acid in it.
