Relief for menstrual cramps without medicine?

Does anyone have any suggestions for menstrual relief without using Advil, Tylenol, or other drugs? Any herbal remedies, or diet....? Thank!

Lol... I am a waitress. NOTHING does the job better than just going all out and lifting the heavy trays or whatever eles needs done. It seems that the more "exercise" I get the sooner I feel better and end up being far less crabby. Heat from a heating pad or one of those heat wraps you buy from Therma Care (available pretty much anywhere here in the US). The Therma Care patches stick to the inside of your panties or pants where your belly is hurting, and they are activated by your own body heat. Can't get much more natural than that!

Applying heat like a heating pad can help relieve cramps. I use to find a warm bath would help as well. Exercising on a regular basis can help reduce menstrual cramps.
