Can a B.A.C. tester register anything BESIDES alcohol? I.E. Medicine

with alcohol, energy drinks, etc.??? The tester is not Police Department grade. Home tester, although it does register correctly.

Energy drinks SHOULD NOT have any alcohol in them to start with. And yes it can measure the amounts of alcohol in medicines, any amount of alchohol in medicines will register after you take them as it will be metabolised in your blood stream and come out in your exhalations. You may not believe it but Nyquil has more alchohol in it than Budweiser. The same for Geritol, no wonder old folks are "feeling better" after their Geritol, they're stewed!! LOL!!

it can only register alcohol, but that does include medicine that has alcohol in it.

No a B.A.C. tester is just that, a blood alcohol content tester.

That would BE alcohol. Even if it DOES register, I am willing to BET that whatever is registering impairs you as much as alcohol.
