| If alcohol could be used as a medicine. And it was administered.....? just enough to do the job but not enough to intoxicate. Would this person than always be considered physically dependant instead of an addict? As people in pain management are not considered junkies but are physically addicted and mentally if they can't get their meds filled?      |

| The only thing alcohol (by which you mean ethanol) is useful for in medicine is preventing the death of people who've ingested methanol, ethylene glycol, or some other nasty alcohol. |
