I am giving my kitty clavamox please tell me side effects from this medicine?

My Kitty Suffers From Urinary Tract Infections At Least 3 Times A Year And I Took Him To Vet With Another Infection, They Gave Him Clavamox Which I Have Been Giving Him Twice A Day And Im On The Second Day. He Now Has No Interest In Eating And Drinking And He Threw Up Too, Is This Normal.

My cat has had a couple of UTIs, and when the vet put her on Clavamox, she had zero appetite. The vet said it can cause nausea (just like antibiotics for humans cause them to have nausea). Drs. Foster and Smith, a pet supply company, sell this stuff called CatBerry which is supposed to prevent UTIs, but my cat doesn't like them. I feed her a mix of wet and dry foods, and she does okay.

I'd ask the doc if there's another antibiotic you can give your cat or something to prevent him from getting these infections.
