| what medicine do you take for coughing, mucous? I have been coughing for a while without taking any medicine. but I have difficulty at night. what others are taking for coughing? Do I need to see doctor for this      |

| sometimes I use mucinex, it is helpful with mucus. I'm not sure how severe your cough is though- |

| Take something with an expectorant, which will get rid of the phlegm during the day and something with dextramethorphin (DM on the package) at night to suppress your cough. If it doesn't help, go to the doctor, and if the mucus is greenish or yellowish, you probably have an infection. Good luck! |
