Acne medicine and pregnancy... Ok so i used benzol perox and saliyac

acid several times a week while preg.? Im 6 month preg now. I got the 20 week ultrasound and everything was normal. I just heard these things are bad to use while preg. what are the negative effects on the baby since ive used them? And how can a chemical used on your face enter the placenta?
