What ever happened to Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman?

I know it was taken off the air, but it was very abrupt and none of the loose ends were ever tied up. I think it was one of the greatest TV shows ever! Does anyone agree? Does anyone know what happened? Yeah, I'm bored...oh well...
P- They used to show them on one network but they don't anymore. It's not on TV anywhere that I know of :-(

I think the networks just didn't renew it. I was getting abit old though. I think that's when "Survivor" started.

They did make at least a couple of movies after the series ended. In the last movie "The Heart Within" it ties up all the loose ends. The family visits Dr Quinn's mother to attend Colleen's graduation from medical school. Her mother is very sick with her heart but does not want to make a fuss over it, she sends Brian to her friend at the newspaper where he writes something and is offered a internship he decides to stay and take it. Dr. Quinn's mother dies and leaves money for Colleen and her doctor husband to open a clinic for the poor in that town. With Colleen and Brian settled Dr Quinn, Sully and Katie get on the train back to Colorado Springs. The movie is not that expensive and does let you know where everyone ends up. It was one of the best shows the good old days of TV where have they gone? No one will remember much of what is on TV now after it is gone.

my mom, (a strong conservative) loved that show, until they started dealing with controversial subject matter ... I'd expand but I'm afraid yahoo will penalize me again if i talk about any controversial subject matter.
