Is this a side effect of medicine or a bug?

I have been taking a penicillin -amoxicillin mix of antibiotics for strep throat and pink eye. I have also been using eye drops for my pink eye. Both seemed to be getting better but last night I got severe diarrhea with blood, and stomach cramps. The blood is gone, but I have had the diarrhea and cramps all day.

I stopped taking my antibiotic today and the symptoms seem to be going away. I am going to call the doctor first thing tomorrow morning, but I am wondering is this just a stomach bug or am I having a reaction to the medicine. I haven't ever had any problem with this before.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I also took a decongestant, and ibprofen while I was taking the antibiotic.
