requirements for medicine or something medically allied?

I am doing the IB diploma, but am struggling with maths so dropped to maths studies. I got a B for my GCSE. however, i heard that maths studies is not generaLLY accepted though for A level it is not required for science degrees? I am doing biology HL chem SL (i thought there was no point doing higher if my maths isnt accepted anyway) so now what are my options????
