i am using ear medicine. my ear is blocked with it. what happened?

my doctor prescribed this ear medicine since i had too much stuff in my ear and i needed to wet it so it can come out easily. i put it in at night and in the morning it didn't come out. it feels like yo just got out of the shower with water in your ear. how can i get it out? i have to go to school.
