I assume your daughter's medication was prescribed by a doctor? Why would you take your daughter to a doctor if you were not going to follow his instructions? Never, ever alter any dosage or time of dosage of any medication without the prior knowledge and consent of your doctor. Either change could potentially adversely affect your daughter. Self medicating is a big mistake.

If you are using caffeine as a pain reliever you should change to Tylenol (less side effects). You really shouldn't use caffeine for kids. I cant think of any other reason you would give a baby caffeine except for what is in the highlands teething pills.

Just for those who don't know, caffeine is given to some babies who have apneas . Most of these babies have been born prematurely some are just slower developers. Anyways, I would call the pharmacy and ask. They will be the best to answer this. Some medicines you have to be very careful about changing the times for. My son takes a lot of meds for a neuromuscular disease as well as he is being treated for sleep apnea, so just be careful and ask the pharmacy. Best of luck.
