| I ate some sliced tomatoes that sat out too long, now I have diarrhea.
Should I take antidiarrhea medicine? I've heard that some Dr's think you should let your body purge the bug, but this doesn't seem like a serious bug (like e coli). What are the different schools of thought?

It would depend how severe your diarrhea is. If it is really severe I would take one. If it isn't that bad I would just let your body flush it out. In the meantime make sure you are drinking water to stay hydrated.
